Ian is a founder and Chairman of The McLean Partnership and was Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin UK from 1999 until retirement in 2009. Ian is Chairman of Arundel Aerospace & Defence Systems (AADS), a provider of mission critical components in aerospace; defence; medical; automotive; transportation; and oil and gas; and of its fully owned subsidiary, Kembrey Wiring Systems. Additionally, Ian is Chairman of the Advisory Board for the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University. He is a former Chairman of British American Business Inc. and remains on its Advisory Board. Ian has served on the boards of The British American Business Council, The Royal United Services Institute, The Council of the Society of British Aerospace Companies, and the UK Council for Electronic Business.
Ian was appointed a CBE for services to the UK Aerospace and Defence industry in 2003.
Nick Gebbie Managing Director
Nick is a founder of The McLean Partnership and has over twelve years' experience of senior front office equities recruitment. He was previously responsible for the creation of JR Selection (a division within The Blomfield Group) where he focused on senior level recruitment within equities and corporate finance. Prior to this, Nick was a member of their sales and trading division.
Lexa Hunt Senior Partner
Lexa is the former Chief Operating Officer of Oriel Securities which she joined in 2008. Previously she was Group COO at Fox-Pitt Kelton for five years, after spending twelve years as their Director of Research. Whilst there she was a member of the team that transitioned FPK back into a Partnership from their previous ownership by Swiss Re, alongside the private equity group J C Flowers & Co. This included building and managing a global infrastructure platform and support team.
David Knox Non-Executive Director
David was until recently a Managing Director of JP Morgan Cazenove where he was Head of Research and a member of the executive committee. He joined the firm in 1994 having previously worked in the London marketing actuarial team at the leading global reinsurance company, Munich Re.
Alun Griffiths Non-Executive Director
Alun Griffiths joined Atkins in 1986. He was appointed Group HR Director in 2003 and a main board director in 2007. His career in Atkins has been split roughly 50:50 between HR and business management roles. He has a background in management consultancy and has led a wide range of projects in the UK and internationally. He is an economics graduate and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He currently chairs the Industry Board of the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science Engineering and Technology (UKRC), UK’s lead organisation for gender equality in science, engineering and technology.
