A global French logistics company found itself entering unfamiliar territory after acquiring a Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) division. With operations spanning Spain, Thailand, South Africa and Saudi Arabia, the integration needed to be quick, careful and collaborative.
McLean joined the project during the second phase of post-acquisition activity, initially focusing on Iberia. We placed interim executives in HR, Legal and Finance on short-term assignments, most of whom went on to take permanent positions. At the same time, we helped the client recruit four senior leaders, including a new Head of FVL.
Beyond executive search, we supported the client as strategic advisors. Working closely with their teams in France and Asia, we guided market entry plans, restructured team frameworks and travelled internationally to assist in final interviews.
With a strong leadership team now in place and a clear operational structure, the client established a firm global foundation for its newest business division.
