McLean was retained by a long-standing, listed United Kingdom client to aid with the searching and appointing of a new Chief Operating Officer following the retirement of the incumbent.
The team started by conducting a search with thirty targeted candidates, and continued to complete a controlled and confidential search under NDA, allowing them to obtain a strong shortlist of six individuals, from the original longlist. The remaining candidates were provided with executive assessment via our team at McLean HR, to support and validate the interview process.
The successful appointment of the COO was made within and effective eight week process, bringing fresh talent to the leadership team and enhancing diversity across the client’s executive committee.
